Grammar Grump

Hardly the style and grammar maven, still the depravity in what passes for newspapers these days has spurred Rhodes to check in: "Look at what the danged sports writer has done NOW! He goes '...you'd be a fool to dismiss the notion that the Patriots aren't a threat to every single team...' When the benighted fellow means 'ARE a threat.' Not AREN'T. And the cigar-chomping editors that used to stay up late to scream at these dolts, where are they? All fired for the sin of being 54 years old and making $54,000 a year? It's too much for me, man!"

Well, at least it's a somewhat lit'ry check-in from Rhodes. We wish he weren't so silent, so elusive.
