End of Rhodes

Right. Well, we seem to be done. Rhodes' end, though a bit unclear where he goes after the spell of rotting in a Marseille prison (The Jailbird's Song, the end of the quintet). But we can "hold him in our thoughts," right, because -- given the view ahead for us all -- his carping, his wingeing, his howls of despair will be the sound in our ears with every sucking footfall in the great swamp.
