This may be the end of the Rhodes (take a look, the novel The Jailbird's Song, www.dialogosbooks.com, amazon etc). This bulletin, just out, is fraught with uncertainty, plus the usual Rhodesian vicissitudes. Is it his usual (feckless and uppity) undertakings that have landed him in a Marseille jail--or rather the horrible bosses and devious interlocutors "that shoulder their way into his life every five minutes"?

Perhaps you'll have an opinion. Oh Rhodes! Oh world! (The end of his quintet, which began with Bughouse Blues.)
