Grinching Out

I'm OK, I guess, with the past tense of "grind" being "grinded." As it is now in the sports world. "We grinded it out." I would have thought "ground" but OK. I'm NOT OK with the wild errors, the caption under the picture not matching the story, wrong score, wrong person recovering the fumble, whatever.

I insist on my right to angrily flap the forest-product-based news medium and demand that the bastards GET IT RIGHT!

But let's not be all grinchy. The newspaper is great this time o' the rolling year: shopping help, nostalgia pieces, funnies, recipes. It has shrunk in size, compared to the old days, so you can't hide as effectively from your family behind it. But I love the darn thing...
